A message to liberals and conservatives.

To My Liberal Friends:

Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low-stress, non-addictive, gender-neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasion and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all.

I also wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2009, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make America great.

Not to imply that America is necessarily greater than any other country nor the only America in the Western Hemisphere. Also, this wish is made without regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical ability, religious faith or sexual preference of the wish.

More on the war on drugs

This is someone else's words. They said it better than I could.

"The funniest thing is, extremely potent weed, coca, and opium extracts were entirely legal in the United States essentially from its founding. For hundreds of years, anybody could easily acquire the best morphine and cocaine for extremely cheap from any drug store. There was no "drug problem". There were no gangs, or cartels, or turf wars. Cannabis Sativa was either the first, second, or third most prescribed medicine throughout all of the eighteenth century. Fast forward a hundred years, and you have innocent people dying by the thousands in Mexico because of the idiotic self-righteousness of some puritan lawmakers.

That's what happens when you prohibit a product with extremely high demand. The illegality jacks up the price so much that anybody can see how lucrative dealing is. Prohibition does nothing to stop drugs and drug use, it merely makes the drugs more dangerous, dirtier, and places the manufacture and distribution of the substances in the hands of murderous thugs, instead of scientists in lab coats and fancy buildings.

Oh, and the cost? Holy jesus, do you know how much money our government flushes away each year solely on marijuana eradication? Just think about the untold billions spent chopping down all those plants...and yet cannabis remains the #1 cash crop in the United States, and teenagers report they can acquire it far more easily than they can alcohol and cigarettes. That is the DEFINITION of waste.

We've been doin the same ol' thing for quite some time now, and all we have to show for it are record coca cultivation in South America, massacre of civilians on a truly massive scale in Mexico, and terrorists funding themselves through heroin sales. How anybody can not see that a radical new strategy is needed is fucking beyond me."

Indeed. However, I don't think drug laws are meant to eradicate the drug problem. It's usually "let's see how sadistic we can be towards druggies and make it legal, and whether it actually eradicates the problem... that doesn't matter, as long as we get our jollies off."

There are tried and true methods to lower drug use and drug-related crime, but unfortunately, with those methods you don't get to tell other people what to do with their bodies.

Bush dodged that shoe!

Damn. That was impressive.

And to be fair, the guy who threw it had damn good aim.

I am no Bush fan, but no American should be hit with a shoe thrown by a foreigner, specially not the president! That really would have embarrassed the entire country.

To all Americans saying you wish he got hit: You are a traitor.

Liberals oppose people saving for their future

Because to save money must mean you have extra money. Having extra money is a bad thing because that means you are depriving someone else of that money. Some people don't even have food.

People should be arrested and punished by the government for saving a.k.a. being greedy.

The government legalized drugs

Well that's a good thing... right? I think so.

Frankly, I think the war on drugs has been a disaster.

GOP reformation

It's been said by everyone, so I might as well say it too: the GOP needs to be reformed!

What TURNS PEOPLE OFF is Republican social policies, and the Republicans won't budge. People gladly flock to the communists (liberals) because the voters care more about social policies than economic ones.

Us smart people know that economics matter 1000x more, and is what makes or breaks the entire country, but the masses do not.

The GOP needs to reform its social policy and get some voters back, or watch us become the U.S.S.A.

Obama's grandmother

We all heard the news about Obama's grandmother dying, it's old news. But I was thinking, WHAT 47-year-old has a living grandmother in the first place? 47!

She and Obama's mother must have been whores.

What was all that about 'giving up a piece of your pie so someone else can have more'? What was that her husband was talking about when he said 'When you spread the wealth around it's good for everybody'?

It looks like the Obamas forgot to spread their wealth.

Michelle was complaining about not being able to afford piano lessons for her kids. First of all, B.S., and secondly, what the hell kind of complaint is that if it was true? Some people in America can't afford FOOD for their kids. You're pretty well off now, Michelle, spread your wealth! You don't need a government mandate.

Now they're sending their kids to private school! The ultimate hypocrisy. You would think they would send their kids to public school, and send all that extra money to the less fortunate for food and clothes, but not the Obamas!

Biden's givings to charity have been even lower. He's a miserable, greedy creature.

You know, libs, you can write checks to the government. You don't need to wait for higher taxes, you can do it now! But we all know you won't. You gauge your generosity by how much you tell others to give.

The old saying is more true now than ever: Conservatives are generous with their own money. Liberals are generous with other people's money.

Ooh the Fairness Doctrine

Voltaire said something like "I may not agree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it" (I am not going to look up the quote because I don't care enough).

Liberals say "I may not agree with what you say, so I will vigorously pass legislation in order to turn your listeners off!"

Liberals dominate the TV, and conservatives dominate the radio. That's just the way it is for some reason*. The Fairness Doctrine, which lib traitors like Pelosi and Reid are trying to pass, ONLY applies to radio. How subtle!

Conservative commentators will have to give equal time to the opposition, but lib commentators on TV have no such requirement. This is America, right? Surely freedom of speech implies the freedom to express one's unaltered opinions without having to also express someone else's? Not according to Nazi liberals. "Say what the liberal fascist government wants you to say OR ELSE!!!"

How long do you think it will take before the Nazis (liberals) get the Fairness Doctrine in youtube also?


*Actually, we do know why. Conservatives listen to the radio on the way to work, because we actually have jobs. Libs spend all their time at home sitting around watching TV, collecting welfare. That's why conservative TV shows fail, and lib talk radio fails.

Change =/= Progress

I love how libs are now trying to equate change with progress, and use them interchangably. This is a message from an actual lib: "Small c conservatism is a philosophy. One of preventing change. Surely the opposite of progression."

Wow. Conservatism is the opposite of progression...

Conservatives are poised on preventing BAD change. BAD change is not progress. We keep telling you communism is a BAD idea. Switching over to it is change, yes, but not progress.

And that's why your new name, 'progressives', will be become sullied also.

Bailouts

Bailouts are the most absurd thing going on in this country.

The big 3 automakers rightfully got slammed by the government for using private jets while simultaneously begging for taxpayer money. They deserve absolutely nothing.

This is why socialism and bailouts are a bad idea. And you libs want to give them $25 billion of taxpayer money so they can turn around and spend it on luxuries? (They will).

A stupid lib wrote this in reply: "Socialism and bailouts do not neccessarily mean automatic abuse of the system. Nor does it automatically mean lack of oversight.

But capitalism/greed encourages it. The more you cheat, the less rules there are, the more you win."

The more you win? Um, not really because the big 3 are about to fail. Where have you been, you stupid fucking lib? Honestly, how do libs GET like this? And yes, BAILOUTS DO encourage abuse, because you can live life up to its fullest with bonuses and private jets, then simply run to the government to bail out your company when you run it into the ground.

Fuck liberals (global warming)

Global warming! Global warming! Global warming! You racist redneck xenophobes, you are causing the globe to warm!

Bullshit. It's been cold as fuck lately and my car is covered in snow. BY THE WAY, have you noticed it's not called 'global warming' anymore? The libbies have opted for 'global climate change' because they have found out the Earth is (apparently) supposed to cool for 10 years. LOL. I guess when you call it climate change, no matter whether the temperature rises or drops, you can always say you were right.

Remember when it snowed in Baghdad sometime recently, or when the dumb libs had a global warming protest (IN THE SNOW) in Washington D.C.? If libs are good for anything (they're not) they're good for a laugh.

Not even liberals like being called liberals anymore

It seems every couple decades or so, they need a new name once their current one is discredited. I thought it was funny when Hillary Clinton said she wasn't a liberal, she's a "progressive". Ok, same game, different name. It's the same as before, when socialism became a dirty word so they opted for liberal (who have nothing in common with the original liberals, like the Founding Fathers). Keep switching your name all you like. It's the same ideology and rational human beings (conservatives) will keep exposing it for the terrible one it is. 

Why we should support Roe v. Wade

For this one simple reason: Abortion kills libs! Or, at least, prevents them from being born.

This is why I will always support abortion, and you should too. Liberals are mainly the ones having them! No, you cannot take a liberal baby and raise it in a conservative household to cure it. Studies overwhelmingly indicate that adopted children are more like their birth parents than their adoptive parents.

Although it may make you feel bad inside that fetuses are destroyed, you must remember, a liberal baby is still a liberal, and if we are to keep socialism out of the United States, we need abortion! Your FREEDOM depends on it.

Do NOT strike down Roe v. Wade, or support anyone who wants to.

Stupid liberals and their goosestepping

Obama is proposing that American high schoolers and college students be forced by the government to do 'volunteer' (lol) labor. The dumb libs would have had an aneurysm if Bush had tried to implement it.

But you get libs saying things like this (this is an actual lib): "I was forced to do community service in seventh grade, and I enjoyed the experience."

Good for you lib, so was I, and no one cares about 'your' experience. Is that the government's function, OR the right thing to do?

People are not supposed to do forced work for the government, bottom line.

Ralph Nader was right

He said Obama was going to face the question of whether he was going to be an Uncle Tom, and now Al Qaeda is asking him that question, although using slightly different terminology.

So what did Nader say that was wrong?

I used to be ok with gay marriage

But I no longer am because gays routinely try to infringe on all Americans' 2nd amendment rights.

You don't like my (and everyone's) rights? Then keep in mind, what goes around comes around.

I blame Capitalism for everything

Because my socialist college professor told me to.

He, however, has no problem hoarding all this money to himself, while constantly complaining that other people should pay for the poor.

I hate you Capitalism! He told us the beauty of the Soviet Union, and how well socialism works, until the greedy United States ruined it for them. I hate the free market!
